Information support for business missions

The Russian Export Center is a state-owned institute that supports Russian non-commodity exports, promotes them on foreign markets, helps overcome trade barriers and institutional restrictions.

Business missions and displays at large international exhibitions organized by the Russian Export Center attract attention of foreign importers from various industrial sectors.

During the year, PR support was provided for 10 business missions to different countries: Slovakia, Austria, Thailand, Vietnam, Morocco, Mexico, India, Uzbekistan, PRC and Egypt. Also, Russian companies’ participation was covered in such exhibitions as InfoComm Middle East and Africa (UAE) and FoodEx Japan 2018 (Japan).

Tasks completed:

  • Development of a concept and implementation of the international PR campaign to provide media coverage for REC activities in general and its individual projects
  • Boosting interest of trade media in REC international projects, journalists’ revisiting REC’s role in the Russian economy and its trade and economic relations with other countries
  • Creating a permanently positive information context for REC international projects both in Russia and abroad

Changed media perception of Russian achievements in trade and economic relations with other countries, enhanced journalist awareness about Russian industrial potential and its prospects on various foreign markets
A series of media projects implemented aimed at reinforcing Russia's image as a strategic and reliable trade partner for many countries
